Other than salary, selected candidates will also receive other allowances such as Medical Facility, Canteen Benifits, LTC etc as per IAF Rules.

Educational Qualification for Airmen in Indian Air Force: Trade Wise Educational Qualification Details Are As Under –
Group ‘X’ (Except Education Instructor Trade):
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English OR
Passed Three Years Engineering Diploma in Electronics Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Other Engineering Branch or Any Other Branch Engineering Diploma
Group ‘Y’ {Except Medical Assistant and Musician} Trades:
Passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream / subjects OR
Passed two years vocational course from Educational Boards listed as COBSE member.
Group ‘Y’ Medical Assistant Trade Only:
Passed 10+2 / Intermediate / equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English
Candidate Should Have Completed Above Qualification With Minimum 50% Marks. Also Should Have Scored At Least 50% Marks in English at Intermediate / 10+2 / Diploma / 10th Level (Whichever Applicable)
Age Limit: 21 Years As On Date of Final Selection.
Selection Process: Selection of Candidates Will Be Based on Written Exam (MCQ Based), Physical Tests, Personal Interview & Medical Exam.
