Essential Qualification:
Candidate must have a good academic record with first-class Master’s Degree in Life Science/ Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry or any other relevant subjects. The candidates in final year MSc (Result awaited category) are also encouraged to apply, however, the candidate should be qualified MSc at the time of interview.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Qualification in National Eligibility test such as CSIR-UGC NET/GATE etc.
- The work includes cultivation of malarial parasite under laboratory conditions, therefore prior experience with cell culture work would be recommended.
AGE:
Below 28 years as on August 20, 2019. Age relaxation will be given as per Govt. of India norms.
EMOLUMENTS
25,000 + 20% HRA per month for M.Sc. Degree holders who have qualified at NET/GATE (with valid certificate). Candidates who do not have NET/GATE certification will be eligible for ` 12,000/- + 20% HRA per month.
DURATION
The project will be active for 3 years, but the initial appointment will be given for 1 year and further extension will be based on the performance.
Selection Procedure:
Suitably qualified applicants may send applications in the prescribed format with a picture, a copy of complete resume indicating the percentage of Marks acquired and attested photocopies of credentials and experience, along with the photocopies of the peer-reviewed publications to reach the undersigned on or before August 20, 2019. Envelopes must be superscripted with abbreviated title of this project, advertisement number and job title. Selection to the position won’t entitle the candidate to any future positions at RGCB (permanent or otherwise). Just like all project positions at RGCB, the position will be co-terminus with the end of this project.
